The basic deal
You can use Tip Top Tips for free. We'll try to keep it running. Sometimes it won't work because servers are temperamental and football schedules are punishing.
What you agree to
Don't cheat. This means:
- No editing predictions after kick-off (the system locks them but don't try to be clever)
- No making multiple accounts to game the leaderboard
- No hacking, scraping, or other activities that make you sound like a supervillain
Don't be a dickhead. Specifically:
- Trash talk is fine. Being abusive isn't.
- Don't harass other users
- Don't use the platform for anything illegal
- If your username is offensive, we'll change it to "User #247" and you'll have to live with that
What we can do
Ban you if you break the rules. We'll probably warn you first unless you're doing something truly ridiculous.
Change these terms. We'll let you know.
Shut the whole thing down if it stops being fun or becomes legally complicated. Hopefully this doesn't happen but we're not making any promises about running this forever.
What we're not responsible for
Your predictions. If you bet real money based on your Tip Top Tips score, that's a you problem.
Arguments with your mates.
The actual football. We don't control match results, referee decisions, or why your team keeps passing backwards when they're losing.
Server downtime during crucial matches. We'll try to prevent it but sometimes the internet gods are cruel.
The legal bit
This is governed by Australian law because that's where we are. If something goes catastrophically wrong, we can talk about it like adults before anyone calls a lawyer.
By using Tip Top Tips you agree to these terms and to the data collection described in our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use it. There are other prediction games out there, though they probably don't have a user group this cool.
